Movie of the Week: The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman is a 2017 musical film inspired by the life of the original american showman P.T Barnum. This movie tells the story of how young Barnum grew up from nothing to become the greatest showman of all time. Keep in mind that this movie is NOT a documentary. Therefore it does not explore the racism and unfair treatment that Barnum used. However, there is a scene where he pushes the oddities out because he does not want to be seen with them. He later apologizes in song form and turn things around. This film stars: Hugh Jackman as P.T Barnum. Zac Effron as Philip Carlyle. Michelle Williams as Charity Barnum. Rebecca Ferguson as Jenny Lind, and Zendaya as Anne Weaver.
